The Estate

Estancia Los Ciervos: hunting and fishing lodge, is located 70km north-east of Coyhaique, the largest town in northern Patagonia, and 2,000 km south of Chile’s capital city, Santiago.  To get there guests take a three hour commercial flight from Santiago to Balmaceda airport, which is located half an hour from Coyhaique by car. Guests are collected from the airport by the lodge staff, and will then enjoy a three hour drive through some of Chile’s most remote and stunning scenery which includes waterfalls, virgin forest, open plains and spectacular views of the Andes.

Estancia Los Ciervos is located in the foothills of the Andes and is a remote paradise in the middle of unique and untouched Patagonian landscapes. The snow-tipped mountains and volcanoes make a great contrast with native ñires and lengas forests.  The rivers and lakes promise exceptional salmon and trout fishing, and the extensive Patagonian plain is home to a wide variety of wild animals including condors and pumas.
